Rowland Hall is Utah’s oldest independent coed college-preparatory day school. Since 1867, the mission of our founders’ remains the same: to “inspire students to lead productive lives through a college preparatory program that promotes the pursuit of academic and personal excellence.”

Rowland Hall provides a distinguished education in an intimate learning environment made up of approximately 1,000 students, grade 2PreK through twelve. Skilled and dedicated teachers serve as role models who, by their continual quest for knowledge and personal growth, motivate students to pursue their own studies with passion. 

Our graduates consistently matriculate to nationally renowned colleges and universities, many on merit-based scholarships. Historically, ten percent of our students each year are recognized through the National Merit Scholarship Awards Program. 

Rowland Hall is accredited by the Pacific Northwest Association of Independent Schools, the National Association for the Education of Young Children, the Northwest Accreditation Commission, and the Utah Department of Education.
